The visible ceiling gets the attention, but the small parts above it decide whether the ceiling stays level and secure. Every suspended ceiling hangs on a chain of small components. Mark hanger positions on the soffit from the ceiling layout, then set anchor bolts or drop anchors with the correct drill size for Ø6mm fixings.
