Single Bowl Stainless Steel Sink Models and Sizes
The Jawdah Single Bowl Sink is a deep-drawn stainless steel kitchen sink with one bowl, listed in the 50 cm and 60 cm width ranges with a center, right or left bowl position, alongside separate single bowls for custom worktops.
A single bowl sink gives one uninterrupted washing basin. Jawdah describes it as suitable for simple kitchen layouts, preparation zones and utility areas, and lists single-bowl entries in both of its sink tables as well as in its separate bowls table.
This page collects only the models that carry a one-bowl entry in the Jawdah data, so a specifier can choose dimension, thickness, grade and bowl position without reading through the two-bowl options. The full range sits on the Sinks category page.

Quick answer
Jawdah single bowl stainless steel sinks are listed in the 50 cm range as 50X50, 80X50, 100X50, 120X50 and 150X50 with a 1.5-inch hole, and in the 60 cm range as 60X50, 60X60, 80X60, 100X60, 120X60 and 150X60 with a 3-inch hole in 0.5 mm grade 201 or 0.6 mm grade 304. Separate bowls of 35×39 and 39×51 are also available.
What a single bowl sink is and when it fits
A single bowl sink is one stainless steel basin, set into or onto the worktop, with a single waste outlet. Because the whole basin is available for one task, it handles oven trays, stock pots and cleaning buckets that would not fit a split bowl.
The format suits apartments and staff accommodation, office pantries and tea points, small food outlets, preparation stations inside larger kitchens, and utility or cleaners' rooms. It is also the simpler option to plumb, because there is only one outlet, one trap and one connection to the drainage line.

Three ways to specify a single bowl
Jawdah offers a single bowl in three forms: as a complete sink from the 50 cm range, as a complete sink from the 60 cm range, or as a separate stainless steel bowl for building into a worktop fabricated for the project.
The separate bowls are described by Jawdah as suitable for custom applications and practical washing solutions. Both listed sizes come with a choice of hole size and thickness, and all layout options are available.
| Dimension | Hole size | SS thickness (mm) | Layout |
|---|---|---|---|
| 35×39 | 3” / 6” | 0.5 / 0.6 | All |
| 39×51 | 3” / 6” | 0.5 / 0.6 | All |
The bowls table does not assign a grade to each thickness; confirm the grade with Jawdah.
Typical single bowl applications in Saudi projects
In residential towers and compounds, a single bowl model from the 50 cm range often becomes the standard kitchen sink for studio and one-bedroom units, where cabinet runs are short and every centimetre of worktop counts.
In hotels, hospitals, schools and offices, single bowls are common in pantries, beverage stations, housekeeping rooms and cleaners' stores. Commercial kitchens use them at dedicated preparation points, hand-wash-adjacent stations or vegetable washing positions, where one deep basin is more useful than two smaller ones.
Contractors fitting out labour accommodation or site camps often choose a single bowl for robustness and simple maintenance, with the 60 cm range used where heavier daily use is expected.
Grade and thickness for 60 cm single bowl models
For every 60 cm single bowl model, the Jawdah table lists two thickness and grade pairs: 0.5 mm in grade 201 and 0.6 mm in grade 304. Writing the pair, not just the grade or just the thickness, keeps the BOQ consistent with the table.
Grade 304 is the usual choice where the sink will see frequent cleaning chemicals, salty food residues or coastal humidity; grade 201 is often accepted for lighter domestic use where cost is the priority. Both are deep-drawn, which means the bowl is pressed from one sheet without welded corners.
| Dimension | Hole size | Thickness, grade 201 (mm) | Thickness, grade 304 (mm) | Bowl position |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 60X50 | 3” | 0.5 | 0.6 | Center |
| 60X60 | 3” | 0.5 | 0.6 | Center |
| 80X60 | 3” | 0.5 | 0.6 | Right / Left |
| 100X60 | 3” | 0.5 | 0.6 | Right / Left |
| 120X60 | 3” | 0.5 | 0.6 | Center |
| 150X60 | 3” | 0.5 | 0.6 | Center |
80X60 and 100X60 rows carry three layout entries in the source table; confirm the single-bowl position with Jawdah before ordering.
Single bowl models in the 50 cm range
All 50 cm single bowl models share a 1.5-inch hole size. Three of them, 50X50, 80X50 and 100X50, are listed with a choice of 0.35, 0.4 or 0.5 mm sheet, while 120X50 and 150X50 are listed at 0.5 mm only.
The 50 cm table does not tie thickness to a grade. When a 50 cm single bowl is quoted, Jawdah confirms the grade that applies to the selected thickness.
| Dimension | Hole size | SS thickness (mm) | Bowl position |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50X50 | 1.5” | 0.35 / 0.4 / 0.5 | Center |
| 80X50 | 1.5” | 0.35 / 0.4 / 0.5 | Right / Left |
| 100X50 | 1.5” | 0.35 / 0.4 / 0.5 | Right / Left |
| 120X50 | 1.5” | 0.5 | Center |
| 150X50 | 1.5” | 0.5 | Center |
80X50 and 100X50 rows carry three layout entries in the source table; the single-bowl position is confirmed with Jawdah per order.
Choosing the bowl position and length
A center bowl suits a symmetrical worktop or a sink under a window, with equal space either side. A right or left bowl leaves a longer free area on the opposite side, which is useful as a draining or preparation zone next to the cooker or the dishwasher.
Longer single bowl models such as 120X50, 150X50, 120X60 and 150X60 give generous worktop around one basin and are listed with a center bowl. Compact models such as 50X50 and 60X50 suit narrow base units where only the bowl itself fits.
State bowl depth explicitly in the specification. Jawdah selects depth per project, and a deeper bowl reduces splashing in commercial use but raises the working height for users at the bottom of the basin.
Fitting a single bowl sink
With one outlet, the waste route is straightforward: match the strainer and waste fitting to the listed hole size, keep the trap directly under the outlet, and fall the connection towards the drainage stack. Ask Jawdah for the Installation Manual listed for its sink ranges before cutting the worktop.
For separate bowls, the worktop fabricator must produce a cut-out and support that suit the bowl rim, and should agree with the plumber whether the 3-inch or 6-inch hole is required before the bowl is ordered.
Single bowl selection errors to avoid
These mistakes appear frequently when single bowl sinks are scheduled across many units.
- Specifying 90X50 or 90X60 as a single bowl; their one-bowl entry is N/A.
- Leaving the bowl position unstated on 80X and 100X models where right or left applies.
- Choosing 0.35 mm for heavy commercial use when the thicker options exist in the same model.
- Ordering a separate bowl without agreeing the 3” or 6” hole with the plumber.
- Assuming one basin is enough where washing and rinsing must be kept apart.
Keeping a single bowl in good condition
Because one basin takes all the work, it collects grease and limescale faster than either half of a double unit. Rinse after each use, wipe dry at the end of the day and clear the strainer regularly so water does not stand in the bowl.
Do not leave wet cast-iron pans, steel wool or bleach-soaked cloths in the bowl overnight; iron particles and chlorides are the usual cause of rust-coloured marks on stainless steel.
Single bowl versus double bowl
A single bowl maximises basin size for a given dimension and keeps plumbing simple. A double bowl divides the same length into two basins so one can wash while the other rinses. If the kitchen needs that separation, or several users share the sink, compare the double bowl sink models instead.
