Where each accessory is used
In a gypsum board ceiling, anchors fix into the slab, rod hangers or threaded rod drop to the ceiling level, adjustment clips or G nuts set the height, C-Channel clips hang the main channels, and Omega clips join the furring members across them. Gypsum board screws then fix the boards to the grid.
In a partition, the board screws fix boards to studs, and metal fixation screws join studs to runners or members to each other where the detail requires. Floor and head fixings for runners depend on the substrate; Jawdah's published list covers Ø6 mm anchors, and other partition fixings are confirmed per project.
Installation
Selecting lengths on site (general guidance)
Hanger length follows the plenum: a rod hanger of 0.5 m up to 2 m covers typical voids, and Ø6 mm threaded rod supplied in 3 m lengths with G nuts suits deeper voids or heavier loads as designed.
Board screw length follows the board build-up: the screw must pass through all board layers and engage the steel profile adequately, so single thin boards take the shorter end of the 25 mm to 38 mm range and double layers or thick boards take longer screws. Drive screws so the head sits just below the paper surface without tearing it.
Compatibility
Matching accessories to profiles and boards
Omega clips and C-Channel clips are made for Jawdah's ceiling profiles, so order them with the same profile system to ensure a proper fit. The board screws suit Jawdah gypsum boards of all types, RG, FR, MR and FMR, as well as acoustic perforated boards.
Where a ceiling includes gypsum access panels, the panel is set into the board and the surrounding grid should be trimmed and supported with the same accessories.
